Prov 30:5, Psalm 12:6

30:5
Every word of God is purified; he is like a shield for those who take
refuge in him.

12:6
The Lord’s words are absolutely reliable. They are as untainted as silver
purified in a furnace on the ground, where it is thoroughly refined.

One thought:

Words are powerful and from the lips of sinners, dangerous. But God’s words are pure and always good.

Three questions:

How do we think about God’s words as pure in terms of the Bible we own – this may be helpful. https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/essay/authority-inerrancy-scripture/

Do you trust God’s motives when you read the Bible?

Ask God to help an unbeliever you know – trust that His words are pure.

Prayer:

Acknowledge God as good and pure.

Give thanks that He has spoken pure truth through impure humans.

Ask God to help you and others trust in the purity of His words.
