Salt Church is registered as a Covid-Safe organisation.
With ongoing Covid-19 awareness, we want to assure you we’re doing everything we can to make Salt Church COVID-Safe.
If you don’t feel comfortable gathering with us at the moment we’d love you to still connect with our church. We’re no longer live-streaming, but visit the sermons page to hear the audio from Sunday’s Bible Talk!
What’s the plan?
Here is a link to our Covid-19 Safety plan. Here an outline of some things we’ve put in place to ensure gatherings and events in our building remain safe:
- Cleaning and disinfection measures are being taken by both staff and volunteers
- We have improved ventilation and air-circulation in the building by installing new fans
- We have installed signage to help to remind you of safe practices
- We are registered as a COVID Safe business with the NSW Government
- Hand sanitiser and masks are available for you on entry
- There are no NSW Health Covid-related density or capacity limits for our building, so instead we will follow the Council’s fire-safety maximum numbers that our building is registered for.
- Next Gen: A ministry leader will monitor room numbers and redistribute children to another space if overcrowding occurs
How we will keep each other safe:
Things to do:
✔️ Sanitise your hands as you enter the building (greeters will have sanitiser) and frequently wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds.
✔️ Maintain appropriate physical distancing whilst in the building
✔️ Masks are not a requirement of entry, but feel free to bring and wear your own mask, or grab a free mask from us at the door.
✔️ If you’re feeling well, come along to church!
Things not to do:
❌ Do not enter 275 if you are experiencing a fever, cough, sore throat, or shortness of breath.
❌ Do not enter 275 if you are a confirmed COVID-positive case, or a Close Contact of a confirmed COVID case and are in the self-isolation period required by NSW Health. We will continue to livestream our Sunday Gatherings, so if you are unable to attend in person we’d love you to still join us by watching church online.
