Rom 8:10–11, 1 Peter 1:1-2

8:10
But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit
is your life because of righteousness.
11
Moreover if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead lives in
you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will also make your mortal
bodies alive through his Spirit who lives in you.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

This gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy
scriptures

 

 

One thought:

The work of the triune God is to bring life from death, and this He has done in all those who believe.

 

 

Three questions:

How and why do we become truly alive?

 

How confident are you that you are born again?

 

Pray for someone who is still dead in their sins.

 

 

Prayer:

Acknowledge God as the source of true life by the will of the Father, through the work of the Son and the application of the Spirit.

Give thanks that you and others have been brought from death to life.

Ask God to make others alive to Him (pray specifically for one or two people).
