I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these instructions to you

in case I am delayed, to let you know how people ought to conduct
themselves in the household of God, because it is the church of the living
God, the support and bulwark of the truth.

And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: He was
revealed in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed
among Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

 

One thought:

The revelation of the gospel about Jesus Christ is amazing in both senses of the word, it is a both a surprise and marvellous.

Three questions:

What is the gospel?

Do you marvel at the reality of Christ? God in flesh?

Marvel at Jesus today, that God the Son would come to be one of us.

Prayer:

Praise God for the surprising and marvellous news of Jesus Christ. Give thanks that we can know this good news by God’s grace. Ask God to help you and others be captivated by the gospel, even telling others of its wonder.
