Proverbs 1:8-9

8 Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction
and do not forsake your mother’s teaching.
9 They are a garland to grace your head
and a chain to adorn your neck.

Three questions:

What teaching does the writer have in mind?

 

Do you desire to learn wisdom?

 

Do you have godly parents? Ask them for some wisdom.

If you don’t – ask someone else who has godly parents?

 

Prayer:

Praise God that He gives wisdom to those who trust in Him. Give thanks for His Church that includes parents who teach godliness. Pray that you +someone else would learn wisdom from other faithful believers.
