Enjoy these summer nights with us!

Summer time in Wollongong is pretty great. We love this city and we want to celebrate some of the good things in life together and share why Jesus is our greatest joy.

Over three nights in January we’ll get together and connect over food, fun and community.

13 January – Eat / Play / Cafe

We all love a good game. Eat/Play/Cafe will have something for everyone from console gaming (including a FIFA comp with prizes), table tennis comp, table games for every level and interest and various card games.

Even if gaming isn’t your thing, we will have woodfire pizza, nibble plates and the cafe will be open for a good summer conversation. Join us for an evening of good times.

Summer Nights FIFA League – Tournament

It’s time to settle the score. Who will come out on top and get ultimate bragging rights as the Summer Nights FIFA League champion? If you’re interested, you’ll need to register before the day (13th January) for you and a friend.

Summer Nights Table Tennis Competition

If you feel that your FIFA chops are not quite up to par, or just can’t handle working with another someone, try your hand at the Table Tennis Competition. We’ll run it in paralell with the FIFA comp, so come with your friends to cheer you on. Register online before the Jan 13th to give yourself a chance of becoming a champion.

14 January – Picnic In The Park

summer-nights-picnic-park

A relaxed evening of sharing food together, listening to live music and connecting with others in our community. Bring a picnic rug and something to contribute to our pot luck picnic dinner.

Samara’s is donating a delicious spread of breads and dips and some of the friendly folk from Salt Church will be cooking up a storm. If you have something from your culture or just a dish you love to cook we’d love to add it to the spread! There will also be some food available to purchase with all proceeds going to Illawarra Multicultural Service.

The picnic will be in MacCabe Park next to 275 Keira from 5pm. There will also be some picnic games and soccer for those who are feeling active.

15 January – Community Carnival

Community Carnival in the park. Fun activities for all ages! Jumping castle, petting zoo, sponge throwing, face painting, balloon animals & heaps MORE!

Game ticket fee $10 family or $5 per person

Summer Nights is run by Salt Church. Ever wondered who Jesus is and what he’s all about? Come along to one of our regular events to figure it out.
