At Salt Church we’re praying to see thousands and thousands of people come to know real hope in Jesus and grow in their love for him. That is a big prayer and we know that its only God who is able to make it possible. As Salt Church grows its easy for all of us serving at Salt Church to only see what’s right in front of us in the team we’re serving in and not see or hear much about the big picture. That’s why we need Grow.
At Grow 1 we lifted our eyes to see what God is doing in our city. We reminded each other why we’re doing what we’re doing. We talked about the next five years and the next ten years and what it will take to keep reaching more and more people for Jesus. We heard stories from the front lines and spent time praying together for a flood of lifelong disciples of Jesus. We also talked about some big things that are coming up that we need to keep thinking about praying about – which is why we’re running Grow again.
At this next Grow we’ll be talking about the details of the need for a new site in the future but also the need for us to continue growing our ministries to see more people putting their trust in Jesus and growing in him. This is also a chance for you to ask questions and put forward ideas you might have been thinking of. We would love everyone who’s a member of Salt to be there. We need you!
Be praying that GROW 2 would be a great time to lift our eyes and to keep praying that God would be bringing a flood of lifelong disciples of Jesus to our region.
