Deut 6:4–5, Ephesians 4:4-6

6:4
Listen, Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord is one!
5
You must love the Lord your God with your whole mind, your whole being,
and all your strength.
4:4
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one
hope of your calling,
5
one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6
one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

One thought:

The wonderful nature of the Trinity is that we do not have three persons competing for power or glory but three persons who are one God, united in love, the same in values and purpose.

Three questions:

How does it help to know God is one?

Do you see the Godhead (three persons of the Trinity) as working together?

Check out Ephesians 4:1-3 and consider how you can be reflect the unity that God has in Himself

Prayer:

Acknowledge God as triune (one God in three persons).

Give thanks for the unity of God, working together perfectly for the sake of His glory.

Ask God to help His Church reflect the unity of purpose and belief that is found in Himself.
