In the same way, wives, be subject to your own husbands. Then, even if
some are disobedient to the word, they will be won over without a word by
the way you live,

when they see your pure and reverent conduct.

 

One thought:

 

What would you be willing to sacrifice/surrender in order to see someone saved? Some power, some time/energy…

 

 

Three questions:

 

Why do we react to words like submit do you think?

 

Do you believe hard people can be won over to Christ?

 

How does this apply to you? You may not be a wife of an unbelieving husband?

 

 

Prayer:

 

Give thanks for Jesus Christ – despite the disbelief of those around Him – many have been won over by His conduct.

Ask God for help in caring for others more than our own desires.

Ask God to help you to consider how to apply this passage to your own life.
