Zech 11:11–13

11:11
So it was annulled that very day, and then the most afflicted of the flock
who kept faith with me knew that it was the Lord’s message.
12
Then I said to them, “If it seems good to you, pay me my wages, but if
not, forget it.” So they weighed out my payment—30 pieces of silver.
13
The Lord then said to me, “Throw to the potter that exorbitant sum at
which they valued me!” So I took the 30 pieces of silver and threw them to
the potter at the temple of the Lord.

One thought:

God’s Shepherd was rejected for 30 pieces of silver.

Three questions:

How might this passage point forward to Jesus?

Would you prefer Jesus didn’t exist?

Read Ephesians 1 to remind yourself of the spiritual blessing we have in Christ

Prayer:

Praise God that He is the God who seeks to bless His people. Give thanks that in Christ you have been blessed with every spiritual blessing. Ask God to help you +someone else be reminded of how good it is to be in Christ.
