Matthew 8:25–27

25 The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

How does Jesus calm the storm? What’s the significance of this?

 

Who do you see Jesus as?

 

Pray for three people who need to see who Jesus is.

 

Prayer:

Praise God that He is all-powerful over the forces of this world. Give thanks that Jesus has the power to calm storms and even forgive sins. Ask God to help you + someone else trust in Jesus that He can do anything, even forgive your sins.
