Hold to the standard of sound words that you heard from me and do so with
the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Protect that good thing entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who
lives within us.

 

 

One thought:

We need to hold onto and protect the sound teaching entrusted to us by God in the Scriptures.

Do you desire to ‘protect’ the teachings of the Bible – do you care when they are taught wrongly/falsely?

 

Is there someone that is not ‘holding’ to the sound teachings of the Bible that you could pray for?

 

 

Prayer:

Give thanks that through Christ & the Spirit we can know the pattern of sound words/teaching.

Ask God to help you hold firm and protect good theology/doctrine.

Pray for others who have rejected the pattern of sound words/teachings.
