John 16:12–15

16:12
“I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
13
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth.
For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he
hears, and will tell you what is to come.
14
He will glorify me, because he will receive from me what is mine and will
tell it to you.
15
Everything that the Father has is mine; that is why I said the Spirit will
receive from me what is mine and will tell it to you.

 

 

One thought:

The primary activity of the Spirit is to reveal the truth about the Son & His work that was purposed by the Father.

Three questions:

How does Jesus speak through the Spirit?

 

How do you see the Scriptures?
As Jesus (Son of God) speaking through the Spirit, or just interesting/helpful words…

 

Ask the Spirit today to help you know God more.

 

 

 

Prayer:

Give thanks for the Spirit of truth who gives us the Word of God.

Ask God to help you and others listen to the Spirit and trust in the truth.

Ask that the Spirit would be at work in people you know, revealing to them the truth of the gospel.
